Digital Learning

Mobile technology plays a key role in learning at ACG Pathways: all students enrolled in the University of Auckland Certificate in Foundation Studies receive a free iPad for the duration of their course, giving them full access to a complete set of course materials.

ACG Pathways – An Apple Distinguished School

ACG Pathways is one of just 400 institutions from 29 countries to be appointed as an Apple Distinguished School. This invitation-only programme shows that we are innovative, we use technology effectively to support our students’ goals, and we share Apple’s vision for learning with technology. Our school leaders use iPad and Mac products to inspire creativity, collaboration and critical thinking in our students.

Mobile Technology

Mobile technology expands the classroom, making learning possible anywhere, anytime. By using myACG (Blackboard), students have access to all of their resources and can be learning at any time of the day or night. Having a mobile device with Apps and access to the internet opens a whole world of possibilities, and a host of new learning opportunities. A teacher’s role is critical in helping students find the best sources of knowledge, and teaching them how to use that knowledge in the best way. That’s why ACG Pathways appoints highly experienced, registered teachers – they know what they’re doing and can give effective guidance to students to help them achieve their goals.
